WIRELESS SYSTEM

Wireless security and comfort
The purpose of the ABAX 2 wireless system is to protect the premises – both the building and the area around it. This system can also be successfully used to implement building automation. Therefore, it provides a unique combination of security and comfort.
ABAX 2 is ideally suited as a wireless solution for alarm systems based on the INTEGRA, INTEGRA Plus and VERSA control panels. When used with these devices it gets its full functionality and offers its best possibilities to the users. Moreover, ABAX 2 can work together with any alarm control panel or automation controller, and, in certain cases, it can also operate in stand-alone mode.
ABAX 2 uses encrypted, two-way radio communication. This grants the system the same level of reliability of data delivery available only to wired alarm systems before.
Advanced energy saving features enable long operation of battery-powered devices.

5 FACTS ABOUT WIRELESS SYSTEMS ABAX 2
- ABAX 2 is characterised by its long range of radio communication, even up to 2000 m in open areas. This is a 4 times better range than the range achieved by its predecessor - ABAX.
- ABAX 2 uses the so-called diversification of transmission channels. The frequency band supports four channels, in which the level of interference is constantly monitored. Communication is carried via the channel in which the level of interference is lowest at the moment - the selection is made automatically. The system offers highly efficient and reliable communication between devices. In comparison with other wireless systems, ABAX 2 is more resistant to jamming attempts.
- The operating time of battery-powered devices has been extended in comparison with other systems. Some elements can work continuously for even up to 8 years. The system automatically informs you when it is time to replace the battery.
- Data transmission between devices is much faster. Compared to the ABAX system, ABAX 2 operates much faster, with more devices being able to work within the same area.
- ABAX 2 system devices can also be used in building automation.

Your secure space

New premises
You want to give more space to your passions and to do so you have
renovated and furnished an unused loft? You extended your house by adding a garage? Or perhaps
you have built a greenhouse to grow exotic plants? You are facing one more important task: you must
secure your new premises by installing a new or extending the present alarm system.
Installation of
new devices (to be used as part of ABAX 2) will be extremely fast and easy. You will thus also avoid
any unpleasant tasks connected with the possible renovation.

Last minute alarm
The annual leave is fast approaching, and you would like to additionally secure your home? Or maybe you have no
alarm system yet? You have no time to deal with it: you are busy working and preparing for summer holidays that are just around the corner.
It is still not too late – you will be able to relax peacefully!
If you decide on the ABAX 2 wireless solutions, your installer will place, configure and have them running in a very short time.

Always secure
Are you planning or making changes to the arrangement of your home or garden? Remember that any disturbance of the existing architectural layout may affect the so far reliable operation of your security alarm system. Remember to consult your installer whenever you plan to make a change.

Lighting
Does it happen sometimes that you leave the light in your room or bathroom on when going out? As a result, the lamps left on
use energy unnecessarily. But you can help it. When the alarm system is armed, the ASW-210 wireless controllers installed in boxes
under the lighting switches can automatically cut off the power to the light fixtures.
The ADD-200 and AOD-210
wireless detectors equipped with dusk sensors can take part in controlling the outdoor lighting, so that it will work only when it is dark
outside. The detectors will inform the control panel that the dusk has fallen, so that the lamps can be turned on. On the other hand, the
arrival of
dawn will be a signal to turn the lighting off. The indicated lights can also be turned on / off remotely, for example, from the mobile
application, the same that you use to control your alarm system.

Electrical devices
Controlling devices connected to the power sockets (via the ASW-200 smart plug) helps improve and increase energy efficiency in your home. The devices whose work is not needed at the moment, can be turned off automatically (e.g. when arming the alarm system) or remotely, which will reduce power consumption to the necessary minimum.

Heating
The ADD-200 and AXD-200 detectors (operating as a temperature detector) can report that the set temperature
thresholds have been exceeded, which improves performance of heating and air conditioning. When they send information to the control panel, e.g.
that it has become colder in a given
room, the heating can be turned on. When the temperature reaches the required value, the control panel will automatically switch off the heating
system. On the other hand, when the ABAX 2 system is working together with the INTEGRA Plus control panel, the temperature information sent by other
devices of the wireless system (most of them have a built-in temperature sensor) can be used to control the heating / air conditioning as well.
AXD-200 can also work as a magnetic contact designed to be mounted on windows. When the window is opened, the control
panel can
turn off the heating in the room in order to avoid wasting energy when the room is being aired.

Outdoor protection
Your premises will be secured by the AOD-210 outdoor dual motion detectors and AOCD-260 outdoor curtain detectors. The devices designed for outdoor use are characterized by resistance to adverse weather conditions and ensure high effectiveness of intrusion detection, while also minimizing the risk of unwanted alarms.

AOD-210

AOCD-260
Perimeter protection
The AOCD-260 outdoor curtain detectors can work along the property border, fence, windows and building entrances. You can install the ACD-220 curtain detector on the inside of windows and doors, as well as in the passages inside the house. Windows and doors can also be protected by the universal AXD-200 detector, working as a magnetic contact or shock detector. Windows, glass walls or doors can be monitored by the AGD-200 glass break detectors.

Indoor protection
The APD-200 PIR detectors can be used to protect the premises. However, in some places (living
room with fireplace, boiler room, vestibule, garage, etc.), where rapid temperature changes or air movement can occur, the APMD-250 dual detectors, equipped with infrared and microwave sensors, will do better. Both devices
come with the Pet function, so your dog will be able to move freely around the spaces where the alarm
system is armed.
Doors inside the building can also be supervised by the AOCD-260 curtain detectors and
AXD-200 detectors used as magnetic contacts.
Valuable items can be additionally secured using the AXD-200 detectors working in the
reorientation detection mode. If, for example, a picture is taken off the wall – the control panel will be informed about it.

Additional protection
The ASD-200 smoke and heat detector and the ASD-250
smoke detector (certified according to the EN 14604 standard for autonomous detectors)
will react to the early signs of a fire. The house can also be equipped with a carbon monoxide detector ACMD-200,
which will detect hazardous to health concentration of this gas and immediately trigger an alarm.
To detect a water leak, you can use the AXD-200 universal detector working in the flood detector
mode (with the FPX-1 probe connected). The
APB-200 panic button, when pressed, will instantaneously notify selected people or security
agency about a threat, e.g. burglary.

Home automation
To implement the building automation functions, you can use the ASW-200 smart plugs and ASW-210 wireless controllers, as well as the ACX-210 or
ACX-220 wired zone and output expanders. They make it possible to control various devices, e.g.
selected lighting points, roller shutters/blinds or sprinklers.
The ADD-200 and AOD-210 detectors can also be used
in building automation. Given that they have built-in dusk sensors, they can be used e.g.
to control the operation of lighting.
The ADD-200 temperature detector and the AXD-200
detector, if used in the appropriate mode, can provide the alarm control panel with information that the set temperature thresholds are
exceeded. The control panel can respond in a preprogrammed manner, adjusting the temperature in the rooms to the expectations of the
household members. When the ABAX 2 system is working together with the INTEGRA Plus control panel, the temperature information sent by other
devices of the wireless system (most of them have a built-in temperature sensor)
can also be used to control the heating / air conditioning.

Compatibility of ABAX 2 and ABAX system devices
When introducing a new wireless system, SATEL ensured backward compatibility – new devices can work together with the ABAX system controllers.
Interoperability between controllers and devices included in the ABAX 2 and ABAX systems looks as follows:
- Only ABAX 2 system devices can log into the ABAX 2 system controllers. The ABAX devices can not log into the new controllers.
- Devices of both ABAX 2 and ABAX systems can log into the ABAX system controllers. However, those being part of the new ABAX 2 system will not offer their full functionality then, e.g. radio transmission will only take place on one channel of the 868 MHz frequency band, and the maximum communication range will be 500 m in the open area.
