CR-MF3

MIFARE® proximity card reader

The CR-MF3 reader can operate as:

  • proximity card reader in the INTEGRA alarm system
  • proximity card reader in the ACCO NET or ACCO access control system
  • proximity card reader in systems of other manufacturers (OSDP, Wiegand)
  • standalone door control module

Characteristics:

  • user identification by MIFARE® proximity card
  • built-in MIFARE proximity card reader (13.56 MHz):
    • Ultralight CSN/SSN
    • Classic CSN/SSN/MSN
    • DESFire (EV1 / EV2 / EV3) CSN/MSN
  • supported OSDP protocol (OSDP protocol version 2.2; RS-485 bus)
  • additional communication interface
    • EM-Marin (operation in the INTEGRA, ACCO NET or ACCO system)
    • Wiegand
  • programming in the CR Soft program
  • LED indicators (3 pcs.)
  • built-in buzzer (volume adjustable)
  • optical tamper protection against opening of the enclosure and/or removing it from the wall
  • for indoor or outdoor installation

Properties for individual modes of operation:

Proximity card reader in the INTEGRA alarm system

  • required connection to the INT-R expander for card / chip readers
  • functions activated by proximity card:
    • arming/disarming and alarm cancelling in partition
    • door opening
    • control of 24. MONO switch and 25. BI switch type outputs

Proximity card reader in the ACCO NET or ACCO system

  • required connection to ACCO-KP series access control module
  • functions activated by proximity card:
    • door opening
    • blocking / unblocking a door

Proximity card reader in systems of other manufacturers

  • selection of the communication interface:
    • OSDP (RS-485 bus)
    • Wiegand

Standalone door control module

  • support for up to 128 proximity cards
  • functions activated by proximity card:
    • door opening
    • blocking / unblocking a door
  • possibility to specify the number of times a card is used
  • relay output for controlling an electric strike, electromagnetic lock or other device which activates the door
  • door status input
  • request-to-exit input
