LTE communication module for INTEGRA and INTEGRA Plus
INT-GSM LTE is an LTE communication module that allows INTEGRA and INTEGRA Plus alarm control panels to communicate over 2G or 4G cellular networks. The device operates on the control panel keypad bus, and supports two SIM cards. All cellular data transmissions are encrypted using AES-192.
INT-GSM LTE reports events to two monitoring stations, such as security agencies, via the cellular network. The module uses cellular data transmission and SMS, with the option to assign priority to each communication path.
Event notifications aregenerated automatically based on the control panel's event log. The module can send information by SMS or use the CLIP service to notify up to 16 phone numbers. When used with an INTEGRA Plus control panel, it can also send e-mails notifications to up to 16 addresses. The INTEGRA CONTROL mobile application additionally support push notifications.
When used with INTEGRA and INTEGRA Plus control panels, INT-GSM LTE enables remote system control using:
- the INTEGRA CONTROL app
- text messages
- free CLIP service
- GUARDX software
An important advantage of INT-GSM LTE is its ability to work with the ETHM-1 Plus Ethernet module via the RS-485 bus. This tandem enables Dual-Path Reporting compliant with EN 50136 and allows priorities to be assigned to the available event-reporting paths: Ethernet, cellular data and SMS. By default, cellular network servers as a backup communication path for Ethernet.
Cellular communication enables a wireless connection between the control panel and a PC running the DLOADX or INTEGRA Soft software. This allows the system to be configured remotely. The connection between the module and the PC can be established using the SATEL connection setup service.
The module is equipped with an RJ12 socket. To connect it to a control panel equipped with an RJ12 socket, use the RJ12 to RJ12 cable included in the set. Connection to a control panel with a PIN5 connector requires the RJ/PIN5-LCD adapter, which is available separately from SATEL.
Local firmware updates are carried out through the RS-485 port available at the A and B terminals. A USB-RS485 converter is required to connect the module to a computer. The firmware can also be updated remotely using UpServ over the cellular network.
